. Summary of Position:

The technician will be responsible for installing structures on the assembly of the helicopter, working in areas that may be cramped and or little room. The technician will work from engineering drawings and job cards and follow the production schedule.

The technician must be able to work through obstacles and know the best method to perform the job. The technician must be familiar with composite design structures with knowledge of through inserts, carbon fiber lay up's, honeycomb materials, resins, sealants and sanding of parts that contain the above. Strong knowledge of correct type of fasteners to be used and able to adapt to rapid change on a daily basis.

  1. Qualifications for Position:

A. Education

High school diploma (Minimum required)

3 to 5 yr's of aviation production required

Former composite and or sheet metal fabrication a plus

B. Experience

Composite background with strong knowledge of structural assemblies

C. Competencies & Attributes

Sheet metal fabrication, composite background a plus

D. Licensure/Certification

A&P preferred, not required.
