Sr. Technology Architect AWS Java and Microservices

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Technology Architect with 14 to 18 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Java and Microservices along with domain experience in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can drive technology solutions to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex technology solutions using AWS Java and Microservices.
• Oversee the development and deployment of scalable and secure applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure that technology solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the development process.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation and diagrams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and provide solutions for improvement.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications and data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to the companys overall technology strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in AWS Java and Microservices.
• Demonstrate strong domain knowledge in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and secure applications.
• Have a proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Be adept at translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Have experience with code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Be committed to continuous improvement in software development processes.
• Show ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
• Possess strong documentation and diagramming skills.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the companys technology strategy and roadmap.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Java Certification Certified in Governance Risk & Compliance

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 3/8/25.

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
