A day in the life...

As the Sales Analyst, you will be mining multiple sources of syndicated data, deriving meaningful insights, and translating sophisticated results into conclusions that will drive the business strategy. You will thrive in this role if you are, analytically curious, highly motivated, communicate well, and take responsibility for monitoring reporting accuracy and quality of analysis.

This role can be based out of our Corporate office in Kansas City, MO or Chicago IL, Boston, MA, or Houston TX.

What you will be doing...



  • Perform weekly analyses of sales performance and generate comprehensive reports to provide key insights to both internal teams and organizational leadership. Maintains a proactive approach to the utilization of a broad set of analytical tools, including but not limited to IRI, SAP BI, and customer specific portal data.
  • Responsible for post analysis and modeling of promotional results to maximize future potential sales.
  • Consistently and concisely communicate insights, trends, and opportunities to key internal/external (customer) stakeholders based on sales results.
  • Provide guidance and insights to internal/external (customer) stakeholders to broaden their understanding of the shopper and consumer behavior.
  • Assist sales leaders with presentation development for all Line Reviews, Joint Business Planning Meetings, and annual Sales Planning Dialogue presentations. Assist in the data preparation, call implementation and follow up on all key sales calls.
  • Responsible for maintaining reporting system data integrity and development of new custom reports for use by team members.


Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient computer skills; advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint including ability to use graphs, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Intellectually and analytically curious with strong data, analytical, and reporting skills (Proficient in syndicated data Nielsen and/or IRI).
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication.


Do you stand above the rest?

(Preferred Qualifications)



  • Data analysis experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG)
  • Experience working in Microsoft Power BI.


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, respond with urgency to requests and remain focused on strategic imperatives
  • Ability to create financial recommendations utilizing basic ROI analysis
  • Ability to partner with multiple cross functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
