Job Title: Tax Qualified Plans Team Location(s): New York, NY Overview: Insurance Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern tjoin our Tax Qualified Plans Team. This part-time internship offers an excellent opportunity tgain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, specifically within the realms of retirement plan operations and analytics. You will work alongside industry professionals, contributing tinternal account reviews and a variety of special projects that support our retail annuities business. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day operations of the Tax Qualified Plans Team, including internal account reviews and project support. Analyze data and prepare reports using Excel tmonitor and track key metrics. Collaborate with team members across various departments tensure seamless operations. Support ad hoc tasks and contribute ideas timprove operational processes. Qualifications: Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Experience: Completion of at least 1-2 years of college coursework is preferred (sophomore/junior standing). Prior internship or volunteer experience in a related field is a plus. Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Basic understanding of data analytics and metrics. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with the ability twork both independently and as part of a team. Interest: A genuine interest in the retirement plan landscape and financial services is highly desirable.
