This position establishes and manages the policies, procedures, and measurements by which the quality of parts and components provided by our suppliers are measured against. This position will manage the PMO Supplier Quality Department in their efforts to review, audit, and recommend improvements to the qualtiy processes used by our suppliers. Scope This position is responsible to maintain and improve PMO QC indices which are used to measure the quality of our suppliers and the effect of that quality measurement on PMO productivity and cost. Indices which may be used are: supplier performance (defect ratio) and purchased component quality (BIS issues). This position will be responsible for the quality performance of 41 key suppliers with annual parts value in excess of $200 million. (Overall supplier base if 480+ suppliers with value of excess of $240 million). The quality assurance plans of key supplies will be audited on a regular basis. Improvement plans will be developed/implemented and the effects of these plans will be measured. This position will assist in the selection of new suppliers by directing the auditing of the potential suppliers policies and procedures. Based upon the audit results recommendations will be made to accept or reject the supplier. Manage the overall direction of the Supplier Quality department = 5 people including the manager. Pay: $112,720 - $140,900 The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. No two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the minimum to the mid-point of the salary range for the role.
