Our Client, a sub-prime auto lending institution based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, has been a prominent national provider of auto finance solutions since its establishment in 2007. With over $5 billion in assets under management, the company employs a common-sense lending approach for dealer partners and offers affordable payment programs for customers. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join the team. *The ideal candidate will have strong experience in telecommunications systems administration, design, installation, and support, with expertise in managing and troubleshooting PBX systems, contact center platforms, SIP trunking circuits, and network components.* This role will require analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate on large-scale projects. *This person will work individually and regularly interact with the Network Team. **Can sit anywhere in the U.S. but manager would prefer them to be in the SC/NC area. * *This is a 6-month renewing contract - will be extended. Key Responsibilities: *Telecommunications Administration: * Manage and administer Shoretel/Mitel PBX systems and Alvaria/Aspect Dialer platforms (or equivalent) with 6+ years of hands-on experience. * Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco CUCM, Cisco Contact Center Enterprise/Express, and Audiocodes SBC devices with 6+ years of hands-on experience. * Perform routine administration and fault isolation of voice mail systems, ACD platforms, and SIP trunking circuits with 6+ years of hands-on experience. * Navigate and troubleshoot dial peers on voice routers with 6+ years of hands-on experience. *System Design and Support: * Design, install, and support telecommunications equipment, including fiber optic transmission, multiplexers, digital cross-connects, and channel bank equipment. * Conduct routine testing and fault isolation for digital telecommunications equipment and network devices. *Project Management: * Act as a project member or lead on large-scale telecommunications projects, including planning, implementation, and post-deployment support. * Ensure all projects align with organizational goals and standards, adhering to deadlines and budgets. *Documentation and Inventory: * Maintain accurate documentation for all telecommunications systems, including configurations, fault resolutions, and inventory records. * Provide detailed reports and updates to management as required. *Collaboration and Training: * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including staff and other engineers, to meet organizational objectives. * Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members as needed. *Skills* Alvaria, Aspect Dialer, shoretel, mitel, pbx, CISCO CUCM, voicemail, acd, Troubleshooting, Support, Deployment, Installation, project management *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. *6+ years of hands-on experience with PBX, voice mail, and ACD administration. *Strong knowledge of telecommunications equipment, SIP trunking, and network infrastructure. *Experience with healthcare environments is preferred. *Solid understanding of Cisco CUCM, Contact Center platforms, and Audiocodes SBC. *Project management experience is a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
