The Associate Field Marketing Manager supports the development and execution of marketing and visual merchandising initiatives to help ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence across retail locations. In this field-based role, the Associate Field Marketing Manager works closely with marketing, culinary, and operations teams to assist in the implementation of visual merchandising strategies and retail marketing plans in alignment with Morrison Retail Marketing standards. This role helps support new account openings, refreshes, and ongoing retail programs, contributing to a positive customer experience and consistent brand execution.

The following outline of essential functions and performance expectations is designed to describe the key responsibilities of this role but does not include all tasks that may be assigned. Requirements listed reflect the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for success in this position.

Essential Job Functions

New Account Openings and Renovations:

  • Assist the Field Marketing Manager with planning and coordinating marketing and visual merchandising strategies for new account openings and renovation projects.

  • Support the Field Marketing Manager and Culinary teams in developing and deploying brand and marketing strategies for new and refreshed locations.

  • Assist with the ordering and coordination of smallware's and signage in alignment with retail guidelines.

  • Assist in implementing culinary and marketing food presentation standards to ensure brand consistency.

  • Support the Field Marketing Manager in coordinating and facilitating training sessions for retail managers on visual merchandising standards, signage placement, and retail marketing programs.

  • Track and assist with budget management and processing operational transfers related to marketing initiatives.

  • Help identify operational needs and field support requirements for new business openings, cafe refreshes, and renovation projects, working closely with the Field Marketing Manager.

Retail Marketing Champion (RMC) Leadership:

  • Assist the Field Marketing Manager in conducting monthly division calls to share company promotions, marketing initiatives, and program updates with Retail Marketing Champions (RMCs).

  • Support the collection and review of performance feedback for RMCs, assisting the Field Marketing Manager with evaluations.

Market Intelligence:

  • Assist the Field Marketing Manager in compiling "lessons learned" reports following renovations and account openings to help inform and improve future projects.

  • Support the collection of competitive insights where applicable to help shape marketing and merchandising strategies.

Training and Development:

  • Assist the Field Marketing Manager with identifying training needs and developing resources to support retail managers and frontline teams in implementing marketing programs and visual merchandising standards.

  • Support onboarding and training of new Retail Managers and Retail Marketing Champions (RMCs) to ensure consistency in program delivery across the division.

  • Help develop and share best practices, guides, and tools to support ongoing training efforts across the region.

Division Support:

  • Support the presentation and communication of retail marketing strategies at division and regional meetings.

  • Assist in coordinating retail initiatives and strategies in collaboration with Division and Regional leadership.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with Regional Directors of Operations (RDO), Corporate Executive Chefs (CEC), and on-site management teams.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of culinary and marketing standards to ensure consistency and alignment across all retail operations.

ADMINISTRATIVE:

  • Manage SG&A and processes operational transfers in a timely manner (current fiscal period)

QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five + years' experience in restaurant marketing, merchandising and/or retail sales

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, business, or sales preferred

  • Consumer oriented with proven marketing background

  • Must be able to travel 90+%

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
