Position Description :We are seeking Software Engineers with a mix of talent in areas related to full-stack development. As part of our team, you will provide software and web development services. Our ideal candidate would possess a broad range of skills as our scope of work spans various technologies. Examples of technologies we are currently using to support our customers include Java, Python, JavaScript, Angular, React, and ElasticSearch. Locations: Denver, CO OR Warrenton, VA (on-site work is required) Role and Responsibilities Produce software based on desired functionality provided by users and analysts Interpret mission needs and requirements to produce user-friendly software systems Leverage continuous integration to create sustainable and maintainable software Interact with teammates and users through whiteboard sessions and/or design documents to establish circular feedback Required Skills: Proven experience in modernizing legacy systems, particularly Java 1.8 J2EE-based web applications. Expertise in AWS managed services and serverless technologies. Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Kubernetes. Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand and work with existing codebases and application architectures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, maintainability, resiliency, and availability improvements. Ability to design and implement strangled services from monolithic applications to cloud-native applications. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools. Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization. Preferred Skills: Experience with modern open source software technologies such as Kubernetes, Apache Spring Boot, NGINX, Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Experience and understanding of security best practices in cloud environments. Experience with rolling upgrade, canary deployments or other modern deployment techniques. Experience with automated testing including unit tests, feature tests, static code analysis, dynamic code analysis, etc Experience supporting development, operations and sustainment of large scale software systems deployed to government contracts. Experience in one or more of the following mission areas: GEOINT, SIGINT, Missile Warning/Missile Tracking, Earth Observation Development Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following application domains: Mission Management, Mission Processing, Sensor Orchestration, Command and Control Education and Experience Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Experiencein one or more of the following: Java,JavaScript/Typescript, Kubernetes, Angular, ELK stack, Kafka, Web Services (REST), Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Android development, NoSQL and SQL databases, Xmidas, Digital Signal Processing Hands-on experience with task-based collection planning and scheduling software systems Recent program experience in GEOINT, SIGINT, MULTINT missions Junior Requirement: 1-3 years of experience Mid Requirement: 3-5 years of experience Senior Requirement: 7+ years of experience Principal Requirement: 10+ years of experience & 2-3 years leading SW development programs Abilities and Competencies CURRENT TS clearance REQUIRED (SCI or SCI eligibility preferred). Self-motivated and eager to work intently to satisfy mission requirements Adaptable and has the desire to maintain our company culture Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written communications Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for these positions is $90,000 to $225,000.
