GDS Associates has an immediate and challenging opportunity for an Associate Analyst in our Distribution Services Department. We seek an individual who can work out of our Marietta, GA, office under a hybrid work-from-home and in-office schedule. This position will provide valuable analytical support to the department in a wide range of areas including, cost of service, rate evaluation, load forecasting, general financial analysis and benefit-cost modeling. The main responsibilities are listed below.

• Assist project managers and consulting staff with data collection, develop and utilize detailed spreadsheets for rate and cost of service analysis, rate administration, data analysis, statistical analysis, and financial analysis.
• Assist project managers and consulting staff with the development of technical project reports and PowerPoint presentations for clients.
• Interact with clients to discuss project issues and to collect project data and other pertinent information.
• Perform research on matters such as rates of utilities, marketing programs, and results of regulatory proceedings.
• Utilize programs such as Excel to summarize and analyze data.
• Support proposal and marketing material development and provide other assistance targeted to bringing in new business.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, accounting or economics (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Relevant work or college course experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Effective verbal and written communication, math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in virtual teams with coworkers in different geographic locations
• Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
