What You'll Do:

As Chef Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the culinary and food service operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This role will have you:

  • Managing all aspects of the culinary operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Driving P&L accountability and using your expertise in food service management to maximize profitability while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Developing and implementing innovative menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients, with a keen eye on cost controls and food presentation.
  • Passionately advocating for sustainability by sourcing and utilizing local food products.
  • Leading and inspiring the culinary team while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the right experience and mindset to lead our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in culinary management, preferably in contract food service, fine dining, or a restaurant setting.
  • Expertise in inventory and purchasing control, ensuring proper food cost management.
  • A deep understanding of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Experience with exposition cooking and an ability to create visually stunning dishes.
  • A working knowledge of HACCP standards and a commitment to maintaining safe food practices.
  • ServSafe certified is a plus
