Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced BigID Lead with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Privacy Functional Data Privacy Foundation and BigID. Experience in Governance Risk & Compliance and Cards & Payments is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of data privacy solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the development and integration of BigID tools to enhance data privacy measures
  • Provide expert guidance on data privacy functional requirements and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data privacy initiatives with business objectives
  • Conduct thorough assessments of data privacy risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of data privacy frameworks and policies
  • Drive the adoption of data privacy foundation principles across the organization
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data privacy controls and measures
  • Support the development of training programs to enhance data privacy awareness
  • Facilitate the integration of data privacy considerations into new projects and initiatives
  • Provide insights on emerging data privacy trends and technologies
  • Ensure that data privacy solutions are scalable and adaptable to changing regulatory landscapes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address data privacy concerns and ensure compliance

Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in Data Privacy Functional Data Privacy Foundation and BigID
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Governance Risk & Compliance principles
  • Have experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Show a proven track record of successfully implementing data privacy solutions
  • Possess the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data privacy risks
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on data privacy regulations
  • Exhibit the ability to lead and mentor team members on data privacy best practices
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Show a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 04/8/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $100000 - $150000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
