The Lendlease Investment Management business is seeking to hire an experienced Investment Associate to join the team based in New York. Our Investment Management team drives long-term value by harnessing market leading capabilities in funds management, asset management, development, construction, sustainability, placemaking and customer experience with a strong record across multiple real estate sectors.

Globally, Lendlease manages approximately A$48.0 billion in property assets via funds and separate mandates. We invest on behalf of pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, investment managers and insurance companies, offering our investment partners access to high quality property assets.

Job Summary
TheInvestment Associatewill be a key member of the US Investment Management team and will be involved with all aspects of analyzing, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities across a range of asset classes and risk profiles. The Associate will be responsible for conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and market analysis to support investment decision-making.

Essential Job Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain cash flow projection models, both for equity and credit investment opportunitiesin multifamily, life science, and office properties
  • Communicate with investment sales brokers, developers and operators to identify and evaluate prospective investment opportunities
  • Assist in coordinating the investment strategy, business plan and initial budgeting for new investment opportunities
  • Help conduct property and market-level due diligence on potential investments
  • Make recommendations to the investment team and help prepare materials for Lendlease Investment Committee and investor approval
  • Support asset management and capital markets teams with ad hoc projects as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with excellent academic record (degree)
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience, including investment banking and/or prior Real Estate investing experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and preferably Argus Enterprise
  • Familiarity with commercial leases, purchase agreements, joint venture structuring/modeling, and loan documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Base Salary Range: $160,000- $200,000
The above salary range represents Lendlease's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards Lendlease provides to employees. The base compensation amount offered to a successful candidate will be decided based on a range of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skillset, and education level.
