Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA, is currently hiring a Patient Transporter for a Flexi/PRN Rotating Shift.

Job Description:

  • Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics.

  • Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara.

  • Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients.

  • Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:High School Grad or Equivalent

  • Experience: 1 year of previous patient care experience is preferred

Job Summary

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI Patient Care
