Overview

The Emerging Markets (EM) Credit desk is part of the Global Emerging Markets (GEM) franchise, based in New York.The trading desk acts as a market maker in EM Credit products to provide liquidity to our clients. You will hold the position of Credit Trade, managing trading both derivative and cash credit products. You will partner closely with the Institutional Client Group (ICG), Analysts and infrastructure functions including finance, technology, and risk.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a market maker to provide liquidity to our client counterparties in EM Credit products

  • Help drive our EM credit revenue and client franchise through risk management and by expanding activity through deepening and broadening of our client penetration

  • Leverage the ICG sales team to source liquidity and service client counterparties

How You'll Lead

  • Responsibility for training junior Trader

  • Building the Deutsche Bank EM Credit franchise with client counterparties & capturing market share

  • Create a positive and effective work environment conducive to open communications, taking initiative, and a collaborative problem-solving team culture

Skills You'll Need

  • Previous experience in the EM Credit market

  • Existing relationships with client counterparties active in this space

  • History of strong risk management and profitable trading

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Self-motivated

  • Self-starter

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $187.5K to $307.5K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
