Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Director, the CFTSS Assistant Director will be will be responsible for the supervision of CFTSS

workers and ensure fidelity to the utilization of the evidence-based models.

Essential Duties:



  • Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Program Development: With the support of the Director of CFTSS maintain current and active in new and ongoing regulations in CFTSS; identify and pursue opportunities to enhance and expand the scope of program services to meet community needs. This will include the oversight of existing services and ensuring productivity goals are met.


  • Personnel: Alongside the Director of CFTSS, ensure consistent application of agency personnel policies; ensure continuity of competent supervisors and clinicians; effectively train, supervise, evaluate, and motivate key subordinates; uphold credentialing requirements of staff; respond to employee feedback from stay and exit interviews; recognize the contributions of quality staff to promote morale and staff retention; develop succession plan for key positions and transfer of information.
  • Ensure that all documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with CFTSS Regulations.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure effective and productive relationships exist and resolve issues as they
  • arise.
  • Oversee the client satisfaction survey process to ensure all employee are providing excellent customer services.
  • Conduct OLP evaluations as needed.
  • Train new staff on policies and procedures.
  • Crisis Intervention as needed.
  • Comply with all privacy laws including HIPAA, etc.
  • Ensure that all billing is submitted in a timely manner.
  • Provide coverage in absence of Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

  • Experience with home/community-based services.
  • Experience using evidence-based models preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with families, professionals and other personnel from a wide range of cultural, social and
  • economic backgrounds.
  • Knowledgeable about trauma and violence and the effects it has on children and families.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and be an enthusiastic team player
  • Must have a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
  • Model and display high ethical standards
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, families, and community contacts
