Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Coordinator prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices, employee expense reimbursements and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies. The Accounts Payable/Payroll Coordinator reviews purchase orders, statements and invoices to verify amounts owed. They will respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in billings and payments; and maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers. The Accounts Payable/Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. This person will perform a full range of record keeping and payroll activities, including computing wage and overtime requirements, calculating and recording payroll deductions, and creating deduction vouchers.

This is a full-time opportunity. Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday with some weekends as-needed.

Qualifications

  • Performs weekly Kronos and Lawson audits.
  • Performs a full range of record keeping and payroll activities, including computing wage and overtime requirements, calculating and recording payroll deductions, and creating deduction vouchers.
  • Assists with filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for senior management.
  • Provides operational, administrative, technical and analytical support necessary to process bi-weekly payroll.
  • Keep current with issues related to payroll including taxation, best practices, and local, state and federal reporting requirements.
  • Works in conjunction with HRIS and IT to ensure data is accurate in Payroll software, systems are functioning properly, and to assist in implementing upgrades and patches to Kronos and Lawson.
  • Provides training and/or in-services to timekeepers, new employees, payroll staff and other system personnel based on their level of involvement and responsibility in the payroll process.
  • Setting up new hires in timekeeping system.
  • Processing paid time off requests.
