POSITION SUMMARY Steamboat Resort is looking for new ski patrol team members for the 2025/2026 Winter Season. We will be hosting a Ski Patrol Hiring/Skiing Clinic on April 6th at 8:00am. Please submit an application here in order to participate. If contacted, you will meet at the Timber & Torch restaurant with your boots on and ready to ski. All participants must be expert level skiers, telemarkers or snowboarders and able to handle all terrain in any condition. GENERAL CLINIC INFORMATION

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $22.50 - $26.00 per hour. Starting at $22.50 with an increase to $23 once new hire checklist is complete. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORKING CONDITIONS Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions. Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate. FAQ'S FOR SKI PATROL HIRING CLICIC APRIL 6TH, 2025. Do I have to be an expert skier or telemarker or snowboarder? Yes! The evaluators staffing the clinic will assess your on-snow skills. This is the 'qualified' part. Be ready to ski in all mountain terrain and weather conditions Do I need to possess first aid credentials or basic first aid to participate in the clinic? Not at the time of the hiring clinic. To be hired, yes (at a minimum you'll need OEC and CPR for patrol), taken on your own time, at your own expense before winter 2024/25. Do I need a lift ticket? No, but if you have a pass please bring it. How should I dress? Be ready to start with ski boots on at Timber & Torch by 8am What about lunch? Lunch break is 45 minutes and is not provided. You may bring your own lunch or purchase at the Ski Area Will my references be checked? Yes Will I be able to store my personal belongings during the clinic? Yes How is my overall training determined? Final rank will be determined by skiing ability, ability to follow direction, communication skills and sense of teamwork. Those ranked at or near the top will go through an interview with ski patrol leadership.
