The Mgr Tech AV Planning & Project is responsible for the planning and project management of all Audio-Visual technology for all of Empower's locations including owned, leased and new locations. Manages team of AV Technicians and all aspects of setting up and tearing down audio visual equipment for meetings hosted by Empower locations. Must have strong client service skills to support and facilitate internal associate, executive, and client meetings and broadcasts that require the AV Tech to be present and to stay for the duration of a meeting (as required). Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing equipment and AV system components. Required to possess in depth knowledge of audio-visual integrated systems, audio voice reinforcement, video conferencing, video projectors and computer interfaces.

What you will do:

  • Manage the technical planning, project management, installation and upgrades for all audio-visual technology across all Empower locations. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Lead team of audio-visual technicians that provide expertise and support for internal and external meetings.
  • Responsible for remaining abreast of technological advances in audio visual and multimedia presentation capabilities.
  • Serve as a liaison between Central Reception Meeting Services, Conference Planning & Travel and Marketing/Communications to determine appropriate technology, methods and delivery to support a variety of meetings
  • Maintain inventory of audiovisual meeting equipment.
  • Manage the procurement of goods, when necessary, in response to clients' needs and in support of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair non-working integrated equipment internally first, then work with outside vendor if required.
  • Project management, including the development and implementation for new audiovisual installation and enhancements/upgrades.

  • Requires an Associates degree or related technical degree
  • 3-5 years experience
  • In depth knowledge of Audio Visual and Teleconferencing technology
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products

Base Salary Range

$98,500.00 - $139,150.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
