JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Pennsylvania State University is one of the leading research universities in the nation with an overall annual revenue of over $9 billion and over $1 billion in annual research expenditures. Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) generates approximately $400M in annual revenue, employs 1,600 staff, and serves as a DoD-designated UARC (University Affiliated Research Center). We focus on naval missions and related areas, maintaining a long-term strategic relationship with the U.S. Navy and provide support for other services and agencies. The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) and Director of Business Services is a key leader, reporting to the ARL Chief Financial Officer (CFO), driving business services strategy and operations. You'll manage 85+ staff across pricing and proposals, contracts, finance, accounting, procurement, and property management. Responsibilities include:
