Job Description

We are currently hiring a Sr. Manager, Operational Excellence in Breinigsville, PA

The Senior Manager Operational Excellence leads the Lean/6Sigma journey and contributes to Enabling Commercial Growth, Optimizing Cost & Asset Utilization, and Mastering Cross-Functional Processes. The role sets the strategy for our lean journey and oversees all manufacturing data systems. The candidate will partner with the CSCO and Brewery Leaders in transforming Brewery-Floor operations to achieve Boston Beer's Integrated Supply Chain ambition of being competitive advantage to the company.

What You'll Brew:

  • Provides leadership by driving organizational change, cultivating relationships, putting staff in a position to succeed, building effective matrixed teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals, driving engagement and creating a climate where the staff is motivated to do their best
  • Leads to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future capabilities, processes and systems across the manufacturing portion of the integrated supply chain
  • Facilitates options and trade-off analysis for project decisions around scope, resources and investment prioritization
  • Provide direct leadership and guidance to the Corporate Pillar Leaders of Autonomous Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Focused Improvement and Organization. Is a subject matter expert in these pillars, and can provide direction and guidance for building the maturity of these pillars within Boston Beer Company.
  • Partners with the non-direct Pillar Leaders and functional heads within integrated supply chain, to include Safety, Quality, People & Culture and Learning & Development. Builds a unified coalition that subscribes to one methodology through Unrivaled Performance
  • Owns all manufacturing execution systems, data availability, granularity and accuracy. Owns the future state of MES systems across the network.
  • Provides compliance and oversight for data accuracy.
  • Recognizes and leads other IT needs within manufacturing, such as CMMS systems, mobile learning technology, Power BI apps.
  • Is a coach and trusted advisor to the Brewery Directors and site Operational Excellence Managers*Drives symmetry between sites, and implementation plans.
  • Matures the systems and processes as the business evolves and grows, is adept at identifying the current level of maturity and meeting those needs, while simultaneously recognizing the next S-curve and preparing for that.
  • Is adapt at the cultural and leadership needs to drive wide-scale organizational change. Leads a skillful implementation of change management
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, Brewery Directors, and functional heads.
  • Build and track process metrics/KPIs per area within the pillar to ensure that the implemented steps,processes and/or systems are driving the proper behaviors and deliverables.

Level:5

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is $120,000.00 - $186,600.00 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance
