ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a field of Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related technical discipline that provides the preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on professional Environmental Health Safety and Security experience supporting multiple sites REQUIRED. Working knowledge and effective ability to develop training programs on safety codes, OSHA regulations, EPA, health regulations, hazardous material, and emergency preparedness. Knowledgeable in the applications of government regulations. Must be able to coordinate and respond to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies across multiple states. Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must have very strong organizational and communication skill. A high degree of confidentiality, efficiency, and professionalism. Able to work in a a fast paced, dynamic environment as a highly motivated self-starter, able to work autonomously or in a group setting. Ability to focus on multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
