Position Title: Fabricator
Wage: $18.00 - $19.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 5:00am - 1:30pm (Monday - Friday) or 1:30am - 12:00am (Monday - Thursday) Looking for a company in Kansas City, MO that has room to grow? Look no further! We are searching for candidates with previous experience in fabrication, construction, or metal working. Once hired on, there is room to learn forklift operation, welding, machining, and order picking! Fabricator Responsibilities: - Operate rotary chop saw and band saw to cut pipe to length - Handle movement of pipe along the length of table and off load to a cart or crate for staging in loading area - Operate Victaulic or Pace Grooving machine for a grooved pipe end process - Operate bench grinder to apply required end to threaded rod for application of hanger devices - Push pipe carts of pipe to load area for loading purposes - Operate pneumatic staple gun to staple cardboard box to pallet - Use forklift when necessary to retrieve materials and move pipe - Operate threader to apply thread to desired pipe - Operate Mercury or Pace Make on machine in order to apply fitting to desired pipe - Operate band saw in order to cut threaded rod to specified lengths - Install hanger devices to specified lengths of threaded rod Requirements for Fabricator: - Able to stand for entire shift - Able to lift up to 50lbs - Previous warehouse and sit-down forklift experience preferred - Excellent attendance QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
