Overview

The Senior Finance Manager will be a pivotal part of Waters Division global Service Finance team, offering an exciting opportunity to gain valuable regional and global experience to support your professional growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial oversight and support for our dynamic and fast-paced Global Service team You will be leading activities such as budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc analysis, and process improvement to drive the commercial success of our business. The Senior Finance Manager will own global revenue, margins, and service-related costs for the largest business unit in Waters Division, working closely with senior finance and business leaders across the company. We are seeking a motivated and strategic teammate with a keen eye for detail who thrives in a collaborative environment.



Responsibilities

    Lead a team in managing a ~$1B P&L within Waters Division, focusing on key financial metrics (revenue, margins, plan attachment, strategic initiatives, etc.) to drive business performance.
  • Partner with Service BU leadership to deliver actionable financial insights that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability, leveraging detailed analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Service BU leadership, offering recommendations to navigate ambiguity, accelerate profitable growth, and implement new technologies and processes to enhance financial and operational decision-making.
  • Develop and implement the annual operating plan and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals, and providing insights into performance. Oversee both annual and long-term financial planning cycles, analyzing market trends, gross margins, headcount, and other key drivers.
  • Lead efforts to improve financial processes and drive operational efficiency, eliminating non-value-added activities, enhancing data governance and reporting, and collaborating across teams to optimize financial operations.
  • Manage special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting, providing insights to support decision-making and ensure alignment with emerging business needs and strategies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 10+ years of proven experience in Finance with a track record of scalable success, including leading a team
  • Experience in a global manufacturing organization
  • Proven experience leading teams in a matrixed, multi-cultural organization
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, translating technical information into actionable business insights
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
