Position Summary

Do you have the desire to work in a dynamic, creative position? Do you want to improve your visual marketing and inspired communication skillset? Be a part of UNM's branding team, working with UCAM's Marketing staff to tell the visual story of who are as Lobos!

  • Works 15-25 hours per week, in-person at the University Communication & Marketing office
  • Assists with UNM brand visuals, especially through digital photography, videography, video editing and/or graphic design
  • Assists with the development and design of marketing projects, including digital designs, print advertisements, videos, photos, posters, banners, presentations and other marketing materials
  • Assists with marketing content development including written content development and publishing on social media platforms
  • Assists with social media marketing including but not limited to posts, videos, audience engagement and sponsored content
  • Supports office promotional duties such as welcoming incoming students, engaging existing students and tabling at student-centric events
  • Supports office administrative duties such as greeting UCAM office guests and answering phones
  • Upkeep and updates of UNM's digital asset library
  • Other duties as assigned

Portfolio Instructions:

  • Graphic design
  • Photography/photo editing
  • And/or videography/video editing.

Any mix of categories is fine. Show us what you think demonstrates your talent and best capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Skilled in digital photography, videography, photo/video editing, and/or graphic design
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter and motivated team player
  • Basic knowledge of UNM desired
  • Previous marketing, creative production, writing and design experience desired
  • Knowledge of social media trends desired
  • Grammar and proofing skills desired
