Job Purpose

The CVA Registration Analyst monitors registration activity to ensure timely processing for vehicles in service, reconcile related data, implement cost reduction measure, and reduce expense risk.

The position is responsible for the validation and handling of property tax payments, new vehicle registrations, vehicle renewals, vehicle relocation assistance, maintenance claim processing, associate maintenance reimbursements, moving violation expense reconciliation and tolls management for company fleet vehicles in operation. The Analyst will use their professional knowledge to accurately develop business unit resource requests, updates and reporting. This position also requires understanding the DMV laws and regulations for 46 states.

This position will also be responsible to achieve supervisor training as part of CVAs succession planning for CVA's Fleet Management Registration Team Lead.

Key Accountabilities

  • Research and identify gaps within all fleet vehicle processing activities and develop action plans for resolution and improved efficiencies.
  • Analyses vehicle registration data to prioritize activity based on expiration timing.
  • Partner with vendors and dealers to ensure timely completion of titles, property taxes, new vehicle registrations and renewals.
  • Manage toll violations for in-service fleet vehicles to determine associate accountability and resolution.
  • Research and determine strategy for toll violation reductions.
  • Present key findings for all fleet vehicle processing activities and countermeasure plans to Management.
  • Validate property taxes for new vehicle registrations and renewals.
  • Aid with new vehicle registrations outside of standard flow and with the validation and payment of dealer claims.
  • Aid associates with vehicle state transfers.
  • Coordinate with the Data Team to reconcile the vehicle inventory fleet.
  • Oversee the Fleet e-mail inbox to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction and distribution of mail correspondence.
  • Track processing activity and ensure accounting and filing of vehicle titles for the company vehicle fleet.
  • Conduct Physical title audits twice a year or as needed.
  • Validate and process vendor invoices, Title Lien releases and associate refunds
  • Process Notary requests for dealer titling and registration completion.
  • Ad Hoc reporting requests.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years in Customer service environment
  • 1-2 years in Department of Motor Vehicle processing environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of CICS, Honda/Acura products, Honda/Acura accessories, dealer sales/service operations
  • Active California Notary Public License
