Position Summary In cooperation with the Corps Officer, assist in a dynamic and creative social media & Ministry Assistant to support our efforts in social media marketing, youth ministry, and community outreach. This role will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, assisting with youth programs, data input, donation collection, and supporting seasonal Salvation Army programs. Assist in developing social, spiritual, and musical programs which are central to the Salvation Army beliefs. Develop community outreach programs which relate to and meet the needs of people who speak Spanish as their primary language. Essential Functions Social Media:

Assist in coordinating seasonal Salvation Army programs (e.g., Angel Tree, Red Kettle, Back-to-School drives, VBS,).
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
Have worked in Christian ministry with children and families (required)
Basic computer knowledge and typing skills, including Word, Publisher, and Excel. (required) Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License (required)
