Position Summary
The Senior Systems Integration/Test Engineer shall be a working member of the Contractor's work force, working hand in hand with the technical and engineering staff (government and contractor) to establish technical solutions and is relied upon and considered as a Subject Matter Expert in their field. They will fulfill a leadership role to the team assigned to them and will perform managerial admin duties and report to the Program Manager. They will also provide system roll-on, software configuration, hardware and software troubleshooting, sustainment, system back-ups and restoration, On-the-Job Training (OJT) for system users, as well as system roll-off for all TDL Systems.
Responsibilities


  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, install new components or parts.
  • Develops creative solutions to more unique, chronic, or complex issues.
  • Researches and answers difficult customer questions about product features and recommend appropriate upgrades.
  • Performs start up testing and customer training on features and general maintenance of product.
  • May mentor less experienced engineers.
  • Has deep knowledge of the organization's products and services.
  • Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
  • Promote positive customer relationships, including non-service call visits and meetings
  • Provide Charge Codes and approve time cards for team.
  • Provide Monthly Status Report (MSR) inputs to the Program Manager.


Experience


  • Qualified US Navy Electronics Technician (ET), Information Systems Technician (IT), or Operations Specialist (OS) with 15+ years' experience
  • Minimum 15+ years as civilian govt or DoD Contractor supporting C5I or C4I-SR System Engineering roles and responsibilities performing system validation, troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
  • 10+ years' experience with Military Intelligence systems, IT/system administration experience, and network configuration background
  • 10+ years' experience working with and troubleshooting CANES, ADNS, and/or ISNS Navy network systems
  • Must have experience with test, analysis, and troubleshooting of complex communications hardware problems for development and/or modification to C4I system hardware components.
  • Familiarity with DCGS-N, GCCS-M, LMMT, JTT, and/or other like TDL C4I-SR systems desired.


Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • This position requires an existing U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the final Secret level. Individual must be able to maintain the necessary security clearance/eligibility for continued employment. U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree from recognized University or should have at least 6 years' experience working with complex communications systems and equipment
  • Well versed in Intelligence disciplines; ALL-SOURCE, SIGINT, and IMINT
  • Preferably Operational Intelligence (OPINTEL) 3936 NEC
  • Experienced in intelligence operations focusing on TCPED (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to travel 30%
  • Job Located at a U.S. Government Facility
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
