Job Title: Fabrication Metal Assembler Pay Rate: $30/hr. on W2 without benefits Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116 Duration: 3 months assignment with possible FTE opportunity Shift Schedule: First Shift Job Description: We are seeking a skilled composite and metals assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling components using both composite materials and metals, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. Role & Responsibilities: Assemble composite and metal components according to engineering specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly tasks. Conduct inspections of assembled parts to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations. Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred. Proven experience in composite and metals assembly, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with various assembly techniques and tools used in composite and metal fabrication. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 35 lbs). Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
