Daily, Weekly, Quarterly and Annual Tasks:

  • Monitor and review all reports with analyst and take action as needed. (see current Reports Addendum)
  • Review and maintain sales pipeline in SF.
  • Follow up on all tasks to completion to include communication with RM and client.
  • Contribute to team as needs arise-Be a Team Player.
  • Understand all bank's departments and their functions, the services and products they offer, and how to contact them or connect them with our clients appropriately.
  • Understand and follow all Treasury Sales policies as it relates to pricing, rates, refunds and waiver of fees, incentive reporting, and assigning credit for referrals and leads.
  • Understand every treasury, merchant and credit card product, to include how the client uses it, requirements for set up, limitations and benefits.
  • Advise Manager of all scheduling conflicts that can't be resolved, conflicts with internal or external clients, poor client experiences, and outstanding client experiences.

Portfolio Management:

  • Schedule and assist in preparation of Portfolio Reviews with each Relationship Manager. Schedule Pre-Meet with RM and confirm action items are completed in a timely manner.
  • Schedule and assist preparation of Relationship Reviews, to include Merchant Reviews. Schedule pre-call meeting and confirm follow up actions items are completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify gaps in services such as fraud coverage, limits and dual control during interactions with clients and make recommendations.
  • Proactively use reporting, CSRs, or any tools available to identify cross sell opportunities and propose services as needed.
  • Invite Manager to one Portfolio Review and one Relationship Review per year. Include Manager on the pre-call for the Relationship Reviews.

Portfolio Growth:

  • Schedule and prepare proposals for Prospects. Master analysis of statements for Analysed accounts effectively. Schedule pre-meet and confirm follow up action items are completed in a timely manner.
  • Proactively and purposefully ask for referrals from customers at Relationship Reviews and events.
  • Schedule and oversee implementation calls for the following: 1) all new to the bank clients 2) current clients adding more than three new accounts or three new users 3) current client adding a service they have never used before (ACH origination, Positive Pay etc)
  • Master and enter Rate Reviews for prospect and prepare merchant proposal. Enter Merchant applications in marketplace and monitor for additional requirements and approval.
  • Take turns with other TSRMs to manage the MAP process annually, to include reporting all new opportunities , rate of success and other metrics up to your Manager.
  • Manage TIB credit card applications to include sending application, gathering all required documents, submit to TIB and convey any timing or approval issues to RM and client.
  • Invite Manager to two prospect proposals per year. Include Manager on the pre-call meeting.
  • Schedule and propose to prospect not referred or introduced by RM twice per year.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management and related services preferred
  • Three years sales experience preferred
  • Three years banking experience preferred
  • Experience working with diverse industries

Education and Development:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Sales, Finance or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Attend and participate in TM Sales meetings, TM Sales/Ops meetings, and bank wide meetings. Attend Portfolio Review meetings, and Relationship Reviews and Proposals as available.
  • Provide quarterly highlights and prospects for board meetings. Provide year end tracking for all activities to include, but not limited to, Portfolio Reviews and referrals, Relationship Reviews and cross sells, increase in deps/fees year over year.
  • Present information at minimum one TM Sales meeting annually. Share new knowledge with team and participate in discussions around best practices and lessons learned.
