DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Program Executive 1, you will serve as the Section Chief of Critical Incident Management in the Division of Participant Supports. You will be responsible for the planning and direction of the Incident Management Unit, reviewing and evaluating performance objectives, and making recommendations for policies and procedures. As a section chief, you will supervise a team of nurses, social workers, and Human Service Program Specialists in completing day-to-day job functions, as well as be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising the Incident Management Team. You can expect to review, analyze, evaluate, and revise program objectives, policies, and standard operating procedures and recommend changes to waiver amendments and renewals as appropriate. In this position, you will also be responsible for developing and maintaining weekly and monthly reports. Additionally, as the chief, you will participate on DHS committees and direct the provision of technical assistance to the various facilities and departments under your purview. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Human Services Program Specialist Supervisor or Human Services Analyst Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional experience in the development, implementation, or evaluation of a human services program or program operations, including two years of supervisory experience; or
- An equivalent combination of professional experience and training that includes two years of professional supervisory experience in the development, implementation, or evaluation of a human services program or program operations.
Other Requirements:
