Build, run and improve critical service environments. Coordinate planning and execution with internal engineering teams, business partners and technical leaders across the division. Own deployment, availability, reliability, performance and customer escalation targets for these environments. Proactive identification and reduction of issues through design, testing, and implementation of software. Guiding force for Creating and maintaining large scale architectures, looking after the end-to-end experience of the customer, or otherwise exercising excellent engineering judgement on a level above isolated method. Identify efficient operations practice and drive culture of automating repetitive tasks with scripting or applications. Experience in Process automation. Professional Experience / Qualifications: Implement best practices in Observability, Reliability, Release engineering Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Logic Monitor). Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments with different OS Flavors. Setup E2E Automation for deployment, E2E application tracing Develop a single pane dashboard for application Knowledge with respect to Cloud Security strategies. Strong understanding of application performance monitoring (APM), distributed tracing, and logging frameworks. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, ARM, and Terraform, or scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Knowledge of AIOps implementation is a plus. Implement SLIs/SLOs Proficient in setting up alerting and monitoring for containerized and microservices environments Implemented Error Budget Policies Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until March 31st 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $113,000 to $161,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
