Southfield Service Center, Full time, day shift Job Scope This pharmacy technician will work at the Corewell Health Service Center as a call center technician for the Corewell Health Specialty Pharmacy. Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions. Within the Hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine. Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required. Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department. Qualifications Required A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED. Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
