Assistant Manager, ATM Services & Ops

Overview

Assist with managing ATM Operations resources (employees, contractors and tasks) and full lifecycle of ATM fleet. Manage, allocate, and ensure personnel and resources are correctly aligned for each role and responsibility, including servicing, projects, and initiatives. Develop, manage, and implement a workforce strategy and resource plan that balances internal and external assets for services - scheduling, timecard management, training, and PAR/Merits. Create and implement succession plan to align with ETS strategy and Role Based training.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures effective and efficient allocation of staff and resources to service business needs and initiatives
  • Establish workforce strategy by identifying skills required to fulfill department roles and responsibilities
  • Review resource allocations to ensure FTEs and Contractors have bandwidth for the business demands
  • Manage Payroll and PPM Timecards - submissions and approvals
  • Maintain technical training plan, job knowledge and partnerships to facilitate career coaching
  • Accountable for Performance and Development Goals, 1-1s, Coaching and Annual PAR/Merit
  • Assist with leading daily ATM operations, projects, and programs
  • Assist with providing solutions to resolve incidents, outages and service issues impacting ATM availability
  • Assist with managing vendor and professional services
  • Assist with AFP Budget, ATM hardware purchases, software licenses and other business needs as required
  • Ensure personnel comply with Navy Federal Credit Union standards and best practices
  • Collaborate and partner with other internal business units to ensure best practices are applied
  • Foster relationships with leadership, team members, key stakeholders, customers, and external vendors
  • Ensure appropriate resources are available and business needs are met for workforce reallocation
  • Create clear, concise, and effective communication tools for managing ATM resources
  • Partner with external vendors to obtain appropriate ATM resources and Incident resolutions
  • Perform personnel administrative needs and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Prior Management/Leadership experience - exercising initiative, using good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Experience in resource allocation and management, team development and performance evaluations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge or experience of ATM Services and/or Operations
  • Experience in project leadership and execution, technology processes, cross functional teams
  • Experience with vendor relationships and contract management
  • Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternative solutions, and information clearly and concisely
  • Effective skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, external vendors, and contractors
  • Experience with managing timekeeping in ServiceNow, HCM and Fieldglass
  • Experience with recruiting, hiring and retention

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or information Technology
  • Minimum 2-yrs experience managing operational or technical teams
  • Knowledge of banking/financial industry standards and practices
  • Prior knowledge or experience leading ATM Operations or Essential 24/7/365 Team
  • Knowledge of Navy Federal's products, services, programs policies and procedures

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM (after hours, weekends, and holiday support may be required)
