Responsibilities

Job Overview: Are you ready to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients while having fun along the way? As a tutor, your primary mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients while building meaningful relationships with them. You'll be the go-to person for guidance, support, and encouragement, helping clients navigate their school experience and tackle individual challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Up with Teachers: Collaborate with our amazing teaching staff to grade written assignments and assessments, ensuring that every client receives the feedback they need to succeed.

  • Data Detective: Keep a close eye on each client's progress by monitoring and collecting data. You'll maintain an organized Excel spreadsheet that tracks academic achievements, attendance, and daily check-ins.

  • Progress Report Pro: Draft engaging weekly progress reports that highlight client achievements and areas for growth, which will be shared by the classroom teacher.

  • Documentation Dynamo: Input detailed case notes into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system before treatment team meetings, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.

  • Inventory Inspector: Keep our classroom stocked and ready for action by collecting and managing classroom inventory, including school supplies like paper and pencils.

  • Policy Pro: Adhere to all policies and record-keeping requirements with precision and professionalism. Your attention to detail will help us maintain a safe and compliant environment.

  • Training Champion: Stay sharp and up-to-date on all required trainings and certifications (HealthStream, CPR, CPI, etc.) to ensure you're always ready to support our clients effectively.

Qualifications

Basic Education and Experience Required:

  • H.S. Degree or GED required
  • Bachelor's level degree in Mathematics/Science or related field preferred
  • Prior work experience in other behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus.

Pay range for this position is $19.08 to $26.50 depending on education and experience.

An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions.
