THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Officer 1, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing the budget for various programs and services. Your work will include preparing reports, evaluating payroll and operating projections, and serving as a point of contact for any budget-related issues. You will also be responsible for coordinating federal funds and programs, such as the Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant, to ensure the smooth operation of these programs. Your expertise and attention to detail will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth operation of budget functions within the division.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are flexible between 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30- or 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You will be required to work in-office up to 2 days a month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:
