Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and will be a key player in driving business excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  3. Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to ensure project alignment and transparency.
  4. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  5. Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
  6. Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  8. Oversee portfolio management, ensuring that project resources are deployed to best effect and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  9. Communicate with the responsible Senior Project Manager to ensure updates and escalations are captured in portfolio meetings.
  10. Manage and oversee project teams that may include internal resources, vendors, and contractors.
  11. Communicate the resources required for project delivery and ensure they are brought on board in a timely manner with the necessary approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on complex and large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the industry.
  • Excellence in reporting and communication to all levels of the organization, from team members to board members, is essential.

Shift: Weekdays

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

  • Hiring Wage: $101,500 - $163,900 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. See full list of benefits below for our complete compensation package.
