JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Urology, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Human Research Technologist to support our growing portfolio of clinical research studies (industry and internally funded). The Human Research Technologist will have regular interactions with study investigators at the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center Campus and Penn State College of Medicine. Research topics range from urologic cancer treatments, surgical outcomes, patient quality of life, and kidney stone treatment/prevention. Responsibilities include:
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position (Monday-Friday). Recruitment will take place in urology practices that treat patients within our health system. Applicant must be comfortable working in clinical research settings. Familiarity with clinical trials, IRB protocols, remote data capture (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics), and database management preferred. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and excellent communication skills are essential for frequent interaction with research participants, investigators and staff at multiple locations. This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, withpossibility of refunding.
