Summary:

The Data Engineer Team Lead will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting across various systems, including Salesforce, ERP, and practice management platforms. They will lead data engineering initiatives, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members while fostering a collaborative environment. Leveraging Azure cloud infrastructure, this role will optimize ETL workflows, enhance SQL performance, and ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards are met. Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, the team lead will align data solutions with business objectives and support reporting needs using Power BI and SSRS.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Optimize ETL workflows to ensure efficient data movement across Salesforce, ERP and practice management systems.
  • Develop cloud based data solutions aligned with Sensiba's Azure infrastructure.
  • Serve as team lead for data engineering initiatives, providing technical guidance and mentoring junior team members.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices are followed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes.
  • Implement data validation, quality assurance, and governance standards to ensure accurate, reliable, and secure data.
  • Optimize SQL queries and store procedures for high-performance data access.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data processing workflows.
  • Work closely with business leaders, IT Operations, and Data Insights teams to align data engineering solutions with business needs.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles, taking ownership of data engineer projects from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts to support Power BI and SSRS reporting needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development and cloud - based analytics.
  • Advanced SQL development skills, including query optimization and stored procedure tuning.
  • Experience working with Azure data services, Power BI, SSRS, and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience integrating data across Salesforce, ERP, and practice management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on performance optimization
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross - functional teams and business stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $150,000 - 175,000 base per year
