Description

The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive toempower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being.

The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Home Study and Post Release Services (HS/PRS) Program Director and providing programmatic support to the team in the day to day operations.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Qualifications

MINIMUM:




  • High School Diploma or Equivalent



  • Valid NYS Drivers license in good standing as determined by the agency



  • Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD.





PREFERRED:




  • Higher Education



  • Bi-lingual English-Spanish
