Are you a Project Manager looking for the next step in your career? Passionate about pets and technology? We're looking for an Enterprise Project Manager to join our team!

This role will be based hybrid onsite in our Westbrook, ME office 2x per week

OR

based hybrid onsite in our Frisco, TX office 2x per week

As an Enterprise Project Manager for the IDEXX Veterinary Software Delivery Team, you will lead projects and programs with Enterprise level accounts designed at delivering or expanding upon their usage of our software solutions. You will be responsible for planning and overseeing complex rollout programs across numerous hospital sites to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceed customer expectations. You will be interfacing with C-Suite and Executive level customers on a recurring basis and will be tasked with guiding their decision-making.

A bit more about the role, you will:
  • Planning: Creating detailed project plans and schedules, setting targets for milestones, and adhering to deadlines that are often informed by enterprise customers requirements.

  • Organizing: Structuring teams efficiently, understanding their various functions, and delegating tasks based on their strengths and experience.

  • Communicating: Keeping stakeholders informed of progress and expectations and communicating proactively about issues and risks. Tailoring this communication to be appropriate for C-Suite level executives.

  • Managing: Managing resources, budgets, rollout, and project scope, and conducting periodic reviews to identify needed adjustments. Managing expectations of enterprise customers.

  • Documenting: Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including activities, obstacles, costs, and results. You will also assist the internal team with periodic audits of documentation to ensure compliance with IDEXX processes and ISO standards, if applicable.

  • Risk management: Performing risk management to minimize project risks and designing risk mitigation plans.

  • Relationship building: Fostering partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors, and maintaining productive relationships with clients at all levels of the enterprise.

  • Process Improvement: You will work within Project Management Office and cross functional teams to identify and develop process improvements for our business. You will collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to identify inefficiencies that can be addressed partially through customer resources.

  • Training: You will assist in developing training requirements, training new enhancements and conduct training sessions as necessary within the scope of Project Management department. This could include the training/mentorship of new hires.

So what are we looking for?
  • At least 2+ years project management or equivalent experience, with a demonstrated history of enterprise-scale project management.

  • Expertise in a wide range of work processes and activities, with experience in complex work processes.

  • Advanced project management knowledge and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with SaaS tools such as GuideCX, Tableau, Slack, and Salesforce.

  • You will possess the ability to devise tracking systems and efficient reporting.

  • You will possess the ability to learn to update the internal website.

  • You will have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and follow up.

  • You will possess the ability to multitask.

  • You will have strong attention to detail.

  • You will have effective project administration skills and/or task management skills.

  • You will have strong computer skills - MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).

  • You will be a self-starter.

  • You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
