Pacific Life's Institutional Marketing Team is investing in bright, agile, and diverse talent to contribute to our mission of innovating our business and creating superior customer experiences. We are seeking a talented Senior Visual Designer to join the Institutional Division's marketing team in our Newport Beach, California office. This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing comprehensive design guidelines and aesthetics for our product and solution labels. You will conceptualize and execute these ideas, collaborating closely with the team. We are committed to your professional growth. How you'll help move us forward:
- Shape and maintain consistent and scalable visual identities
- Generate fresh, engaging ideas and research trends
- Create visually compelling designs for various media, including video and motion graphic content, print, and digital (websites, social, etc.)
- Ensure cohesive and innovated design aesthetics across all marketing materials
- Inspire and collaborate with the team to produce exceptional work
- Ensure high-quality visuals to build trust and drive engagement
- Work effectively with designers, writers, videographers, and marketers
- Optimize workflows, leverage templates, and establish scalable design systems for impactful content
The experience you bring:
- Prior experience in creative agencies or film studios, handling diverse projects and clients
- A degree and/or experience in an art-related field for 5+ years
- Experience driving successful campaigns, from concept to execution
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of design for video and animated content, digital advertising, and other rich media formats
- Stay informed about design trends and willingness to learn more about Pacific Life's industry
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to provide accurate timeline estimates

Base Pay Range: The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$91,350.00 - $111,650.00
