SITE COORDINATOR The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for a Site Coordinator for the Division of Youth Opportunities (DYO) within the Department of Health and Human Services. Under the direction of the Program Coordinator & Assistant Program Coordinator, the position is responsible for the daily operation of a Recreation Worcester summer program site, as well as managing and directly supervising 10 to 20 employees (ages 15-24) over an 8 week period during the Summer. The position is responsible for actively participating in and occasionally facilitating staff training and meetings regarding program development. This individual will execute the Recreation Worcester activity curriculum daily, and provide job skills, conflict resolution, restorative justice, and family engagement for the youth participants. The position will assist in the continued positive youth development and coaching of staff and youth participants. This position will take the lead while supporting youth staff in the daily implementation of athletic, academic, and arts curriculum at a Recreation Worcester program site. o An equivalent combination of education, training and three (3) years of experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.

SALARY: $27.00 hourly, full-time, temporary, non-benefitted.
