Assistant Store Manager
Are you a motivated, quick learner with a keen eye for detail? Join Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired's dynamic team as an Assistant Store Manager at our location on Naval Air Station Webster Field! We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the drive to deliver excellent service while managing inventory, sourcing products, and maintaining smooth operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Cycle Counts and Inventory Management
- Through compliance and accuracy checks of all incoming orders to store location. Following best practices for identification and labeling requirements.
- Daily follow up and communication to vendors POC's for order delivery status and reporting of item issues. Maintaining, collection, and filing of Manufacture Certificates of Conformance
A Day in the Life: As the Assistant Store Manager ibvi's PAX COPARS location, your day will start with a team briefing to ensure everyone is aligned on daily goals. You'll monitor inventory and make sure orders are processed. You'll oversee the training and development of staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and you'll troubleshoot any issues that arise. You'll also work closely with the Store Manager and leadership to ensure smooth operations, all while managing PIMS updates, sourcing needs, and ensuring stock levels are maintained efficiently. Qualifications
Key Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills. Strong customer service skills and business professionalism and logistical experience.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Additional requirements include: Adobe Pro, Oracle ERP.
- Reach truck experience and Current OSHA forklift certification.
