Job Description

To provide clerical and administrative support to sales managers



Responsibilities

    FDC sales administration (blocking function space, following Omni SOP for bookings, making sure contract matches booking)
  • Typing contracts and proposals
  • Taking deposits from clients
  • Generate group turnover to appropriate departments
  • Maintain good relations and communications with operations
  • Tracing activities in FDC, answering telephone
  • responding to leads, assigning leads
  • Supporting managers on site visits and travel tradeshow, blocking guest rooms, making sure rooms and function rooms are appropriate to show
  • Booking individual reservations and client contact.
  • Participating in sales activities (client events, mixers, Here Comes Omni)
  • Supporting sales initiatives


Qualifications

  • High school graduate.
  • Excellent communication skills including oral and written presentations in English.
  • Knowledge of computers and software programs including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to type 50wpm.
  • 1 year of administration experience.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Pay: $32.00/hour - The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.
