The Content team in Corporate Communications is seeking a summer intern to assist with developing content for various Cox Enterprises channels. The position is hybrid, with some remote and some in-person work at our headquarters in Atlanta.

Cox Enterprises' Corporate Communications team tells Cox's purpose-driven story through a variety of channels, both internally to our employees and externally to our customers, communities and potential business partners.

Our businesses create value by working to solve crucial connectivity, transportation mobility and sustainability challenges, underpinned by our Purpose to "Empower people today to build a better future for the next generation." Our job as communicators is to tell that story in clear, concise ways that engage and energize a variety of audiences and stakeholders and inspire them to act.

Our content is featured on various digital and analog channels, including our employee intranet (Inside Cox), our company website (CoxEnterprises.com), social media and our all-employee magazine.

The ideal candidate possesses the following:

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a related degree program such as public relations, journalism, English, marketing, corporate communications and/or related field
  • Demonstrated interest in communications as a career (e.g. previous internship, current or past work or volunteer experience, educational studies)

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.

USD 21.49 - 32.26 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
