*Location**:* Burbank, CA
*Job Type**:* Full-Time 8:00 am- 5:30 pm *Key Responsibilities**:* * Assist pediatricians with patient examinations and procedures. * Perform blood draws and other specimen collections with precision and care. * Record patient information, vital signs, and medical histories accurately. * Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by the physician. * Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatments and procedures. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all medical equipment is sterilized and ready for use. * Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks as needed. * Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards. *Qualifications**:* * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification. * Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred. * Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques. * Bilingual Spanish preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient demeanor. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. * CPR and First Aid certification. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
