*Description*
Responsible for a portfolio of projects - some underway and some in planning stage; will manage/maintain/monitor current projects, work with vendors all around implementation of Ignition Scada systems at multiple sites in US. Most critical duties - coordinating implementation of network communication infrastructure, and vendor management, overseeing work execution and performance tracking, platform enhancements, OT documentation and OT Sharepoint development. We are looking to contract Project Manager services for our ongoing SCADA projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the successful initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out of complex utility-scale SCADA Projects. This position requires exceptional agile project management experience to navigate and resolve complex multi-functional challenges associated with next-generation plant control and automation systems. The project manager will also work in a highly matrixed environment with several cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Project Management Responsibilities *Responsible for planning, communication/coordination, and documentation of Control System development and maintenance for the ongoing SCADA/Energy Management System projects. *Responsible for onboarding network and cyber security service providers. *Responsible for coordinating the implementation of communication infrastructure. *Key person for vendor management, overseeing work execution and performance tracking. *Project communication and coordination with internal teams including Asset Operations, EPC, Grid Integration, and Legal team. *Responsible for planning and managing the following: *Plant vulnerability assessment *Communication /ISP failover tests *Network equipment lifecycle *Equipment MIA (missing in action) assessment *Ignition platform enhancements *Work Order management *Dashboard enhancements *Operational Technology Documentation *Network documentation *User and access management process *Change management *Operational Technology Sharepoint development & maintenance *Redesigning OT SharePoint, adding additional pages, content, folder management, documentation etc. *Cyber Security Management *Network penetration testing and coordination *Automation of plant access control list (review and approval) Skills & Qualifications *Minimum BA/BS in related field; electrical engineering degree preferred. *Minimum of 5+ years related industry experience managing large SCADA / automation projects *Knowledge and experience with battery energy storage systems use cases including primary frequency response (PFR), fast frequency response (FFR), & black start is highly preferred *Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining plant control systems using industry-standard SCADA and PLC platforms *Understanding of data logging requirements and various historian platforms *Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition *Knowledge of industrial communication protocols DNP3.0, Modbus, OPC-UA, BACnet, and MQTT. *Proficient with writing technical specifications for process or manufacturing equipment *Strong understanding of cyber-security best practices including IT/OT standards. *Knowledge of NERC/CIP/NIST procedures *Ability to explain complex technical analysis in a simplified matter to the internal management team and/or external parties *Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional environment with both technical and non-technical team members who are geographically dispersed *Experience with Atlassian Jira project management software *Experience with Microsoft Planner *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Top Skills Details* Project management, Stakeholder management, Project plan, Scada *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Energy or utility industry experience is highly preferred *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
