Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Facilities Manager

This position will provide Facilities Management Coordination Support to the Marine Command Security Force Battalion (MCSFBN). The Facilities Manager will perform Building Group Lead (BGL) associated duties on all facilities assigned to the battalion as defined in Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic Facility Instruction (SWFLANTINST 11010.2). BGL duties include reporting and coordinating facility maintenance issues, reporting facility damages, tracking work orders to ensure work is performed, and performing quality assurance (QA) functions on work performed.

Key Responsibilities / Actions:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for MCSFBN on all matters related to MCSFBN facilities maintenance coordination.
  2. Ensure timely/effective communication to the Logistics Office on all facility discrepancies which impact safety/security/production requirements.
  3. Coordinate facilities maintenance, liaising with Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT) Industrial Division (SPK15).
  4. Attend regular meetings to brief work request status.
  5. Ensure discrepancies are reported in a timely manner to the SWFLANT Trouble Desk for resolution.
  6. Develop briefs on various facilities-related topics and projects as required by the Logistics Office.
  7. Coordinate and ensure facility maintenance, sustainment, and repair work does not interfere with safety, security, and production requirements.
  8. Provide quality assurance on work orders reported as completed and report inadequate/incomplete work to SPK15 within 24 hours for follow-on action.
  9. Complete daily building walkthroughs to verify maintenance repairs.
  10. Verify and report work completed by BOSC to SPK15 within 24 hours.
  11. Perform quality control on established janitorial service and landscaping contracts.
  12. Notify SPK15 of any complaints for action and/or correction.
  13. Provide supporting data regarding janitorial and landscaping contract performance as requested by the COR.
  14. Coordinate user input during the design process of any modernization project to existing facilities, communicating user requirements to the Logistics Office as required.
  15. Coordinate site visits with project engineers and/or vendors in support of facility projects (to minimize impact to day-to-day operations).
  16. Communicate requests for disposition of Government property with appropriate Supply personnel.
  17. Create and produce recurring reports on pending facility discrepancy requests and submit to SPK15 in order to manage outstanding discrepancies.
  18. Provide trend analysis to capture details of facility maintenance discrepancies.
  19. Create supporting report products such as MS PowerPoint to present data clearly and concisely.
  20. Provide cleared escorts to personnel requiring access to buildings for which they are the BGL in order to support facility sustainment/restoration/modernization projects.
  21. Conduct weekly facility zone inspections and surveillance walk-throughs.
  22. Submit discrepancies via appropriate SPK channels.
  23. Conduct monthly zone inspections on every assigned facility in accordance with SWFLANTINST 11010.2 (Series) and log results noted.

Historically, the Facilities Manager has performed the following daily actions:

  • Conduct material condition zone inspections and inspect on-going work orders/repairs.
  • Plan and schedule work orders and repairs with repair personnel to minimize workload interruptions.
  • Provide customer service replies via email, phone and in person.
  • Provide administrative support.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours 0900 to 1630 or as established by the RA. The facility is closed during local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.

Place of Performance: The primary work location will be within Government facilities Naval Submarine Base in Kings Bay, Georgia.

Travel: The applicant may be required to travel to other locations within CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of this contract.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

12 months' experience of construction or facility maintenance oversight.

Working Conditions: Work is conducted inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lit. Personnel may be regularly exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, bruises, abrasions, falls, and injury from falling stock or mechanized conveyor systems and may be exposed to dust, dirt, grease, solvents, and high noise levels in working areas. When working in hazardous material areas, the Senior Warehouse Technician may be exposed to radiation, toxins, explosive hazards, or chemical fumes. This work requires wearing Contractor-provided personal protective equipment/clothing such as hard hats, steel-toed shoes, rubber gloves, masks, and rubber aprons.
