IDEXX is looking for a Laboratory Operations Managerto fill a unique role and assignment within our organization. We seek an experienced Operations Manager and People Leader to run our Greensboro, NC Veterinary Reference Lab (to start ASAP and last through July 2026 at least). After the end of the military leave, we would continue your employment with IDEXX, likely in a new position or location within our North American Reference Laboratory network and larger team. This is a full - time role with competitive benefits and performance incentives. You will be overseeing the direct management and day to day operations of a core location in our North American network of labs, which sees outstanding year over year growth. As a Laboratory Operations Manager at IDEXX, you will be a people leader at one of the largest veterinary diagnostic companies in the world. In This Role:

  • You will be managing teams, including direct Supervisor reports;

  • You will oversee all areas of a high-volume Veterinary Diagnostic Lab;

  • You will create and manage budgets;

  • You will use your proven ability to manage and deliver key operating metrics to successfully drive Quality, delivery of productivity results, Financial success and Safety across the lab

  • You will be a business leader and a people leader for the lab and the line of business

  • You will bring your passion and enthusiasm for teamwork, success, innovation, and excellence to your role, every day.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • You have experience managing the day to day operations of a clinical diagnostic laboratory, fast-paced production environment, or other operations management experience

  • You are an inspiring, motivating People Leader with experience directly supervising individual contributors and / or Leadership teams

  • You love working and leading in a high-volume, innovative work environment

  • You are excited about the opportunity to use your skills and abilities in promoting the health and well-being of animals.

  • You must be open to relocation to a new location within IDEXX after July 2026.
