Productivity Analyst

Job Description Summary

AAM is searching for a Productivity Analyst to join our Metal Forming organization. This position will be based out of our Three Rivers location in Three Rivers, Michigan.

As a Productivity Analyst, you will analyze business processes, find opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize overall productivity. You will be responsible for collecting and interpreting data, monitoring performance metrics, and providing actionable insights that contribute to the company's operational efficiency and growth.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. This candidate will also have the capability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical partners.

Job Description

  • Analyze business operations and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for productivity improvements.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to develop and present performance reports, trends, and forecasts.

  • Conduct time studies, process mapping, and benchmarking

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.

  • Train and support team members in the use of productivity tools and standard processes.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging productivity-enhancing technologies.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or similar.

  • Strong knowledge of business process analysis, process optimization, and performance management.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
